During Our journey, we found the following services and each one was helpful in it's own way.
Neurofeedback - Lori Coda
Botox - for those that have Tone and Muscle pain (say from an accident)
Hyperbaric Chamber. Unfortunately insurance only covers presently for use with diabetic sores and burns, maybe we can push for it to be for TBI's also. It made a huge difference - Thanks Whole Body Medicine
Reiki - Jen Disilvio
Exercise, we found a trainer, who took her from Wheelchair to where she is now, Thanks JT Perkins!!!
Vision therapy. Randy Schulman has been unbelievable. From the first days in the hospital to the present, she has helped Lee's vision heal and go from seeing 6 of everything, to now 1.5 of everything.
Massage, massage and more massage - Thanks Jen and JT
Sauna - Lee had alot of physical injuries too and this has helped her muscles relax.
I am giving shout outs because I cannot thank these people enough. There are so many more, but I will put that in future Forums.
Dont' give up, we were told she would be quadrapeligic and in a vegetative state for life. The only place that would accept her would be a nursing home.
But they are making such huge strides with TBI's. Keep on being their TBI Warrior.
